RPA KEY DATES 2024

With the CS Revenue claims, Farm Equipment and Technology Fund portals open and deadlines fast approaching, please find below all key dates for government schemes/ grants currently available:

• Farm Equipment and Technology Fund
  • Productivity and slurry items – application window closed at midday 17^th April 2024
  • Animal and welfare items – application window closes midday 1^st May 2024

• CS Revenue Claims – application window closes 15^th May 2024
• De-linked BPS payment transfers – transfer window closes 10^th May 2024
• Sustainable Farm Incentive Scheme – no deadline.

FLOOD RECOVERY GRANT

DEFRA has opened a Farming Recovery Fund for farmers who suffered uninsurable damage to land during Storm Henk. It supports the cost of reinstating land which flooded between 2 and 12 January. Despite, Yorkshire being extremely affected by flooding during 2024, land lying within Yorkshire is not eligible for funding. Eligibility for the fund remains under review by DEFRA to ensure is it supporting areas where farmland is most impacted. The further counties under review include Yorkshire, Berkshire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Staffordshire, Norfolk and Derbyshire.

Under the grant available, eligible farmers can access grants of between £500 to £25,0000 to return their land to the condition it was before Storm Henk in January 2024.
