About Us
Founded in 1871 by Jacob Stephenson, we are a proud family firm now in its 7th generation.
The firm was founded in 1871 by Jacob Stephenson, diversifying off the family farm at Wighill near Tadcaster to start auctioneering at the local market.
From these traditional agricultural roots, the business has grown through 7 generations to the present multi discipline professional partnership of today.
Our association with Stephensons Estate Agents and BoultonCooper provides an unrivalled network of 10 offices focusing on the residential and development markets across the county.
The professional team are all qualified and able to deal with every facet of rural consultancy from practical farm questions including the modern GPS technology through the Environmental Scheme maze to valuations and sales of property, large or small.
We are proud of our wide and loyal client base; and thrive on repeat instructions.
“Our breadth is our strength”
